Dear Member,
We are fast approaching the final phase of preparations for the IHF 39th World Hospital Congress, to be held 6-8 October 2015 in Chicago, USA.  We believe that the scientific and social programmes for the event, which can be viewed at http://www.worldhospitalcongress.org/en,  will fulfil the expectations of all participants.  
The Congress as a member-led event, calls for every effort to be made to encourage maximum participation by countries and organisations.  This year’s event boasts of the largest number of member-hosted sessions, offering opportunities for greater networking, exchange of ideas and sharing of experiences with a view to advance global health and healthcare.
We invite you therefore to share with your members and affiliates the Congress digital brochure, which can be viewed at: http://www.worldhospitalcongress.org/documents/Programme/2015_IHF_Congress_Brochure.pdf.  Alternatively, the attached Congress banner with a link to: www.worldhospitalcongress.org may be posted on the homepage of your respective websites.
Your members may register for the Congress by following this link: http://www.worldhospitalcongress.org/en/registration.   Registration fees include access to all educational sessions, light breakfast (Tuesday through Thursday), coffee breaks, lunch (Tuesday and Wednesday), the evening reception (Tuesday) and one ticket to the Gala (Wednesday), unless otherwise indicated.

  • IHF member: $970 USD
  • IHF non-member: $1070 USD
  • Spouse/Guest: $395 USD - includes access to the exhibit hall only, light breakfast, one ticket to evening reception (Tuesday) and one ticket to the Gala (Wednesday)
  • Gala only: $200 USD
  • Optional tour local hospital: $25 USD*

*The fee from this activity will be donated to the International Committee of the Red Cross for the Health Care in Danger Project

Herewith is a self explanatory invitation from the prestigious International Hospital Federation for the 39th World Hospital Congress to be held on October 6-8, 2015.

We encourage you to avail of this opportunity to learn, network and update on new developments in the hospital and healthcare industry.

Your PHA, with its  Board of Directors Ruben Flores, Jess Jardin, Bu Castro and Malou Otayza, will host a parallel session during the Congress, with thematic topics centering on  Equity and Access to Care.

For designated hospital representatives on PHA record who have without US Visa yet,, the PHA can issue a certification of your membership, confirmation of invitation for the event and other information within our control that may be added to what will be required by the US Embassy for your interview. Kindly note of their announcement about anglitch encountered by the US State Department in their Bisa Issuance Computer system that will require you to apply for bisa as early as possible.
