Survey Deadline Extended

Dear members,

We hope this message finds you well.

Thank you to those of you who have already completed/shared the University Hospital Structure and Governance Survey.

The University Hospital Special Interest Group (UH-SIG) of the International Hospital Federation (IHF) is conducting a benchmarking study to better understand and explore the various relationships and governance structures that exist between universities and academic medical centers around the world.

Please share this opportunity for your country’s university hospital. Kindly provide to the IHF Secretariat the list of contacted University Hospitals to allow us to follow up (i.e., as reminders and share of results). Any information will not be disclosed.

We have extended the due date until 10 September 2016.

The first phase of this project includes an online survey to share information about practices of university hospitals around world. Responses must be submitted using the online tool/link. Please note that we are asking for a single response per organization. Responses must be entered online in one session, in English, by the most appropriate senior leader.

The preliminary findings will be presented during the UH-SIG session being held at the IHF Durban 40th World Hospital Congress 2016 in Durban, South Africa on Tuesday, November 1, 2016. This session will feature a panel of experts from several participating countries who will share their structures along with successes, challenges and learnings as well as innovative ideas and approaches that have helped forge successful relationships among partners in healthcare training, research and care delivery. For registration information, please visit the IHF Website.

If you have any questions about completing the survey or other questions about the study, please contact Professors Johanna Lammintakanen, Juha Kinnunen, or Barbara Anason.

Kind regards,

Sara Perazzi
